Brownie-Cheesecake...

BROWNIE-CHEESECAKE

Para el Brownie

  • 125 g mantequilla a taquitos
  • 150 g chocolate a trocitos
  • 1 huevo
  • 150 g azúcar
  • 150 g harina
  • 1/2 cucharadita levadura
Para la cheesecake
  • 250 g queso tipo Philadelphia a temperatura ambiente
  • 1 cucharadita de azúcar de vainilla
  • 75 g azúcar
  • 1 huevo

I wonder who had the great idea to add these two favourites??? There should be a statue in her/his honour!
I have it in the fridge from yesterday night, and I can not stop thinking of eating it up!

As you can see, I've been very productive this weekend, and it's because I love saturdays! It's the best day of the week! I wake up without alarm (even though it is usually at the same time I wake up every week-day) and I already have an idea in mind of what I'm going to bake during the day =)
.
I wonder what did I do during the weekends before I discovered my passion for baking??? Sleep? The truth is that I don't even remember!

But the biggest joy is when someone gives you an "excuse" to bake something! Someone invites us for dinner/lunch and before anyone says anything I've already offered myself to bake the dessert. It's the best way to try new things (with the opinion of non-close-family-member, because my mom dosen't love sweet things, my boyfriend doesn't LIKE sweet things, and my dad LOVES anything that has sugar) and get some real-world critisism.

I had been thinking for a long time to try this exquisite thing, and now I had the perfect "excuse"!
I tried to line the baking pan to avoid the headaches of cleaning afterwards... HUGE MISTAKE! Due to my usuall clumsiness, when I tried to spread the brownie, all the paper moved from its perfect position... and who could put it back where it was??? NOT ME!! So I did my best :S Therefore the weird endings of the cake!

But I've learned from the mistakes: NEVER AGAIN TRY TO LINE A CAKE PAN!

And I had thought of putting some strawberries on top that my mom had in the fridge; but when I went for them... she had already used them for a fruit salad! Who can resist a fruit sallad? So for this time, it is going to stay like this.

BROWNIE-CHEESECAKE

For the Brownie

  • 125 g butter in cubes
  • 150 g chocolate in chunks
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
For the cheesecake
  • 250 g Philadelphia cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanila sugar
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 dl doble cream
Heat the oven to 170 gC and preapare a 19 cm square baking pan.
Melt the chocolate and butter at bain marie and let it cool down.
Whisk the egg with the sugar until pale and creamy. Add the cooled chocolate and the flour sifted with the baking powder.
Spread the dough in the pan and bake it for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, you can start preparing the cheescake:
Whisk the Philadelphia cheese, vanila sugar, sugar and egg until smooth. Add the doble cream and continue whisking.
Spread it on the brownie and return it to the oven for about 15 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the door ajac with the cheesecake still in the oven and let it cool.
Chill it for about 3 hours before you eat it.

Sweet kisses,

Marga
